You will learn how exosome-based treatments can be incorporated into bespoke skin rejuvenation and scalp treatment plans, alongside comprehensive training in consultation, safety, contraindications, complications and aftercare.

What are Exosomes?

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles involved in cell-to-cell communication and can contain biological signalling molecules. Their use in regenerative aesthetics is an evolving area, with ongoing research into applications including skin rejuvenation and hair/scalp treatments.

What you will learn?

  • Exosome Science & Product Knowledge – Develop a strong understanding of exosome therapy, including how exosomes and extracellular vesicles support cellular communication and skin regeneration. Explore product selection, preparation, storage, handling and the importance of following manufacturer-specific guidance.
  • Facial Exosome Treatments – Learn how to assess the skin and identify suitable candidates for exosome treatments. Explore treatment planning for concerns such as skin ageing, fine lines, uneven texture, pigmentation and acne scarring, with a focus on improving overall skin quality and rejuvenation.
  • Scalp & Hair Restoration – Discover how exosome therapy can be incorporated into scalp and hair restoration protocols. Learn how to assess the scalp, identify suitable candidates and develop treatment plans using both needle injection and microneedling techniques, where appropriate to the product protocol.
  • Needle Injection Techniques – Develop your practical knowledge of needle-based exosome delivery techniques for the face and scalp. Training will focus on treatment planning, appropriate injection techniques, anatomical considerations and working safely in accordance with the specific product manufacturer’s guidance.
  • Microneedling & Exosome Therapy – Learn how to combine microneedling techniques with exosome therapy to support skin rejuvenation and improve overall skin quality. Cover treatment preparation, technique, product application, treatment planning and appropriate aftercare.
  • Safety, Contraindications & Complications – Gain an understanding of client suitability, contraindications, consultation, consent, infection prevention and safe treatment protocols. You will also explore potential adverse reactions and complications, appropriate management and when further medical advice or referral may be required.
  • Hands-On Practical Training – Put your knowledge into practice with practical training designed to build confidence in both facial and scalp exosome treatments. Develop your consultation, treatment planning and technical skills while working under professional guidance.
