Our Lip Booster training course is designed for aesthetic practitioners looking to expand their treatment portfolio with a specialist treatment focused on lip hydration, skin quality, definition and rejuvenation.

Unlike lip augmentation, lip booster treatments are designed to enhance the appearance and quality of the lips while maintaining a subtle, natural-looking result.

This practitioner-focused masterclass combines essential theory with hands-on practical training, covering consultation, lip anatomy, treatment planning, product knowledge, injection techniques and safe treatment practice.

What is a Lip Booster?

Lip booster treatments are designed to improve the appearance and quality of the lips, helping to create a smoother, more hydrated and rejuvenated appearance.

Depending on the product used, treatments may be suitable for clients looking to address concerns such as dehydration, fine lines, loss of definition and changes in lip quality associated with ageing.

The course will explore how lip booster treatments differ from traditional dermal filler and how to determine which approach may be most appropriate for an individual client.

Course Content

  • Lip Anatomy & Assessment – Develop your understanding of lip anatomy and the surrounding perioral structures. Learn how to assess lip shape, symmetry, definition, skin quality and individual client concerns before creating an appropriate treatment plan.
  • Product Knowledge – Explore the properties, indications and suitability of the lip booster products used within the course. Learn about product preparation, handling, storage and the importance of following the manufacturer’s recommended protocols.
  • Consultation & Treatment Planning – Learn how to conduct a comprehensive consultation, establish realistic expectations and identify suitable candidates. Develop bespoke treatment plans based on the client’s individual anatomy, concerns and desired outcome.
  • Lip Booster Injection Techniques – Develop practical knowledge of appropriate needle-based techniques for lip booster treatments. Training covers treatment mapping, injection points, product placement and techniques designed to achieve a subtle and natural-looking result.
  • Lip Hydration & Rejuvenation – Explore how lip booster treatments can be incorporated into skin rejuvenation programmes to improve the appearance of dehydrated, ageing or compromised lip tissue and enhance overall lip quality.
  • Lip Definition & Perioral Area – Learn how appropriate treatment planning can be used to support lip definition and address the surrounding perioral area where suitable to the product protocol, while maintaining natural facial balance.
  • Safety & Complication Management – Gain an understanding of contraindications, client suitability, infection prevention, consent and aftercare. Explore potential adverse reactions and complications, their recognition and appropriate management.

Entry Requirements: Previous training and practical experience in aesthetic injectable treatments is required.
